When it comes time to move, there may be many different options you are considering. Weather, cost of living, part of the country, proximity to family and friends, things to do in the area, and the list goes on.

Located on the West Coast of the United States next to the pacific ocean, California is a popular place to live. Even in the states history, many people rushed to live in California.

The discovery of gold in California occurred in 1848. This discovery created a rush of many people to California. Many that ventured there had dreams of making fortune. Even though all may not have found gold they all found fortune in the land they had come across.

In this article, we will discuss some of the factors that go into choosing a home and give you a list of the benefits of living in California.

First, you should consider the weather and entire outdoor environment. California is known for their mild year round weather. The sun shines on Californians almost year round.

For many people weather greatly affects their moods and motivation. Most people do better in sunny weather because of this people love to live in areas like California where they can feel and see the sun all year round.

Another feature that you should consider is the ocean. For most Californians the ocean is very close. It is one of the reasons that the weather is so mild and nice throughout the year.

The ocean also provides lots of opportunities for recreation. Activities like swimming, sunbathing, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, riding jet skis, body boarding, and a host of other activities.

The culture of California is greatly affected by its proximity to the ocean.

Along with the ocean, California also has many other features that make recreational activities possible. There are mountains, lakes, and rivers, deserts, flatlands, among others. These afford visitors with access to hiking, biking, rock climbing, running, rock climbing, and many other activities.

Second, determine if you can get a job there. This is likely to play a big role in your decision.

California has a variety of jobs available to those who wish to work there. They are especially known having a variety of technical jobs, jobs in the entertainment business, and other business jobs.

It has been said that the Southern California job market is just much more diverse. This means that there is not one particular employer or company that dominates the area.

Third, although the cost of living is high generally the salaries are higher to accommodate those who live there.

Many goods cost the same but usually food, gas, and some other items cost more in California.

When it comes to housing, depending on the area, the price of renting or paying a mortgage will be higher than in many other areas in the United States. Currently the price of living in areas like LA is going down but it is still higher than the standards prices throughout the nation. The prices are high because California is a prime place to live.

Fourth, living in California provides residents with many things to do and see. California is known for their art, entertainment, museums, beaches, shopping, restaurants and attractions.

No matter what part of California you choose to live in, you will have easy access to many different forms of entertainment throughout the state.

Some of the most popular include Disneyland, Napa Wineries, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, the San Francisco Board Walk, Six Flags theme parks, Hollywood, Knott’s Berry Farm, LegoLand, Magic Mountain, San Diego zoo, Sea World, Universal Studio, and many other places.

California continues to grow because of the many benefits it provides to its residents. For the thought of living in California is a dream they want to make a reality.

There are many parts of California that continue to grow. These include Discovery Bay, Los Angeles, Rancho Cucamonga, Irvine, Fontana, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Monterey, Palm Springs, San Jose, Long Beach, Berkeley, Oakland, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Bakersfield, Pasadena, along with many more.

California is one of the largest states in the US. Monterey was the state capital once. However, being located in the central part of the state, Sacramento has now been named the capital city of California, although, Los Angeles is the largest and most populous city in California.

When it comes time to move, you may want to consider moving to California because of all the benefits that come with it.
