Caravans are a way of life, they are very much seen as a lifestyle when it comes to vacationing you either love it, or couldn’t think of anything worse. Though you may be one of those rare people who used to love it but now can’t find the time or have grown out of the habit of caravanning; if this is you it’s time to sell your caravan!
Many owners that don’t have the opportunity anymore to go caravanning have a bad tendency of simply leaving their caravan to fall into disrepair in the garage or garden, and keep telling themselves that one day they might use it again when it is clear it really isn’t going anywhere soon. This is probably the worst thing to do because you are letting a very large investment deteriorate over time and are not getting any form of big return on your investment. Though you might looking at your beaten down caravan lurking somewhere on your property wandering if you would actually have to pay someone to take it off you it’s time to take a different approach get into action. So have a look at the state of your caravan and start to think to yourself, ‘what would I want to see if I was going to buy this’? Simply get your vacuum hoover out and a duster and shush up that neglected caravan, a bit of elbow grease and a lick of paint can add up to 200 pounds to the resale price. You want people to feel warm and cosy within the caravan and that they want to buy yours specifically because it’s the only one they can see themselves caravanning in.
The next hurdle to get over is how do you advertise your caravan, what would be a reasonable price to ask for and if there are any other extras that would make your caravan more appealing to paying audiences? They are all very important features when thinking of selling your beloved motor home. The best advice I can offer is there is no need to panic. The caravan market is booming again as more and more people turn to internal holidays in this very bad economic crisis making second hand motor homes in a new and high demand. Saying that, that doesn’t mean you could sell one with a door falling off so heed my advice in the previous paragraph.
So if there is a massive unsightly white thing loitering around your household, get out there, give it a bit of TLC and get some more moola in ya back pocket.
