As Egypt is such a popular tourist destination, renting out your property in Egypt can be a very lucrative idea.

When you are renting your real estate in Egypt, it is important to consider whether your property is suitable for families who are on holiday. A large percentage of visitors to Egypt are families with children, and if your rental property in Egypt does not appeal to this demographic, you can miss out on a lot of rental opportunities.

So how can you make your Egypt property child friendly, so that families will want to spend their holidays there? It is simply a matter of thinking about what families need while they are on holiday and providing it for them so that your property stands out among the others. Here are a few tips:

- Choose a home in a location that is close to popular family tourist destinations, as well as conveniently accessible to food, shopping and other amenities.

- If you want to be a popular place for families to holiday, choose a property in a location that is safe and tourist friendly so your guests will feel comfortable staying there.

- Are there attractions nearby that would be interesting for teens or older children? Is the area safe enough so that teenagers could walk to nearby attractions by themselves?

- Are there enough bedrooms and bathrooms at your property to accommodate a large family?

- It is important to baby-proof your Egypt property, so that there are no dangers present for young toddlers. Provide baby gates which can be placed in front of any steep steps or dangerous areas. Install baby locks on any low cupboards with cleaning chemicals or other hazards.

- Don’t forget to secure the outdoor area as well, by placing a protective fence or cover around the swimming pool so that toddlers cannot fall in.

- Ensure that the outdoor patio or gardens are fully enclosed, so that little ones cannot accidently wander off the property and get lost.

- Provide children’s books, board games, and a few toys so that little ones will have something to entertain themselves while staying in the house.

- Offer your guests the use of a baby cot during their stay.

- To make your guest’s arrival extra special, put together a welcome package with a bottle of wine and some nice treats for the parents and a couple of small toys or games for the children.

- In your rental property listing, be sure to state all of the reasons why your Egypt property is a great place for families. Mention all of the extras that you have provided, and the property’s proximity to child friendly activities.

Making your rental property in Egypt family-friendly will increase the amount of potential guests that you can host, making the home a worthwhile investment, and will also provide a safe and fun place for many families to spend their Egypt holidays.
