If you are thinking of getting some Magic Valley real estate then you might want to consider the following: The Magic Valley is a beautiful area surrounded by picturesque mountains. The Magic Valley Region of Idaho is a great place to live, work and play. Living in the area has a number of benefits including its proximity to the great recreation area of the Wood River Valley and the Sun Valley Resort (the sun valley area has world class restaurants, fishing, biking, winter sports, performing arts and lots of other attractions).

Magic Valley real estate encompasses the following areas: Mini-Cassia area including Burley, Rupert, Heyburn, Paul, Declo, Albion, Malta, and surrounding areas. Cassia County & Minidoka County,Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls Counties. It is also connected to the agricultural region in the Snake River Plain that is located in the area.

Ernest Hemingway has called many places home all around the world. But his favorite location in the United States was Sun Valley, Idaho. It was in Sun Valley, that Ernest Hemingway made his home in 1958. This was where he would write in the mornings and hunt and fish in the afternoons.

The Snake River winds through the region and offers great locations to hunt, fish and enjoy various types of water sports. There are many attractions in the area which also include the City of Rocks National Reserve and the Castle Rocks State Park.

The name “Magic Valley” refers to when the Milner Dam was being constructed along with a series of irrigation canal systems on the Snake River during the first ten years of the 20th Century. Before much time had passed these projects “magically” transformed a nearly uninhabitable area into some of the most valuable and productive farmland in the northwestern United States.Due to this fact, many other towns and cities were founded as a direct result of these works in the early 1900’s.

The cost of living in the magic valley is a lot less than in other states so basically you can make a good living on a lot less money.Although wages are generally lower this means that your buying power can be higher. Back in 2005, Idaho was the second fastest growing state in the nation.

That being said and with the economy the way it is at the moment, there are actually more opportunities around for you and that can mean purchasing an even bigger slice of Magic Valley real estate (at a much lower cost) is a very real possibility, it’s all relative I guess.
